Goals

• To promote and to spread the culture and arts, like also promoting the proffessional teaching in town.
• Exert and coordinate, in agreement with the legal options, attributions that correspond to the city council regarding turism topics and whatever that refer to promotion, artistic education and cultura diffusión.
• To coordinate, in agreement with the legal options, Directions and Institutes activities regarding areas previously mentioned.
• To give congruence to the operation and make sure the coordination of offices related to the city council and related to the areas previously mentioned.
• To Organize artístic education, Public libraries, musuems, theaters, and others events of cultural interest.
• To Promote, under cultural and artistics criterion, Movie Producctions,Radio, Televisión and publications edition.
• To coordinate with the state and federal autorithies and education institutes in the development of cultural and turistic activities celebrating collaboration agreement signature.
• To Foment , with collaboration agreements, the cultural realtions with others cities and status of our country and with others countries.
• To promote the execution and design of activities related to culturals subjects.
• To Work like a department of consultation, organization and proposal of the city council.
• To formulate and to execute programs and projects regarding areas previously mentionated.
• Others that will be determined by the Administration Council and those what previously have been conferred to the areas previously related to the Cultural Diffusión Direction, CODETUR, the local Office of the Arts, the Representative Office of Angela Peralta Theater.
