PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL OF CONTEMPORARY DANCE OF MAZATLAN
Soon after its creation, in October of 1998, the Professional School of Contemporary Dance of Mazatlán already had obtained important objectives and reached multiple goals through the daily work in the formation of interpreters and creators of contemporary dance.
Constituted like one of the main dance centers of the danzario art, the recognized level of the school has come reflecting so much in a plant from specialized professors to national and international level (between whom they tell to members of the consecrated Delfos company Contemporary Dance), like in the originating students of all the country and the outside.

To form professionals of the dance highly enabled in fields so varied as the execution, creation, production and dance promotion.

Degree in Contemporary Dance
Duration: 4 años.
In September of the 2004 Secretariat of Public Education and Culture of the State of Sinaloa it granted to the school the official validation of the curriculum at level of Degree. For this center it is very important that the students are in constant contact with the public. The school puts emphasis in the choreographic creation like part of the artistic formation, by which it has put and it puts in scene works developed by his students. The presentations of the Professional School of Contemporary Dance include diverse festivals, cultural forums and events, as much at local level as national and of the foreigner.

The withdrawn one will be able to evolve at professional level in companies, groups and events of contemporary dance; deprived, independent officials and, are subsidized, university, national or foreign. He will have opportunities at companies, groups and plays, to develop as much opera as comedy, musical comedies, infantile theater, etc. Its field of work includes official and deprived schools of dance; productions of cinema and television; regional institutes of Beautiful Arts; schools in the different levels from the national educative system and in the system of artistic education; groupings and associations of art.
Artistic Projection
For its presentations, the Professional School of Contemporary Dance has like seat to the Theater Ángela Peralta. From November of the 2001 it also counts on the Experimental Forum of the Municipal Center of the Arts, that has served to develop of experimental way the creative and interpretativas capacities of the students. By its technical and interpretativo level, the school received scholarships and supports of the National Bottom for the Culture and the National the Bellas Artes Insititute (INBA) ;this made possible the dictation of courses, factories, assemblies and seminaries with professionals of the country and the outside.
Several editions of the festival “Jose Limon” and the Cultural Mazatlán were nourished with the presence of the school, that also participated in prize INBA-UAM, arriving in repeated occasions at the end. In such occasions it received the recognition of the public and the praise of the specialized critic. An agreement of artistic and academic interchange with the Winnipeg Contemporary Dancer's School of Canada, gives sample of the professionalism, quality and reaches of the school.
