MUNICIPAL SCHOOL OF CLASSIC BALLET

The Municipal School of Classic Ballet received its first impulse in 1989, taking shape a year later the work of promotion and diffusion of the virtues of the ballet with the beginning of classes, in the old building of the German Mercería, located in the street Belisario Domínguez.

From 1994 the institution counts on the advising of the National School of Ballet of Cuba, thanks to which it has gained a prestige and a technical quality that are reflected in the work obtained with the students.

The intention is to form dancers with an elementary technical level, to continue its professional studies in the area of the dance. The students are introduced in the taste by the ballet from early age, later to initiate with the training program adapted to this school, that goes from the group To and culminates with group G, in where would reach I complete degree of elementary level according to the Cuban School of Ballet.

As much at national level as international, the Municipal School of Classic Ballet is a methodologic center of reference for the schools and academies that count on the technical and artistic advising of the National School of Ballet of Cuba.

The artistic and technical quality is reflected in the outstanding and awarded participation of the students in encounter of national and international character.

Inscription: 420 pesos
Monthly.

Schedule Pre-ballet

Requirements of entrance

Age: between 8 and 9 years.
To have a thin complexion.
To pass the entrance examination.

Dates of hearing

Saturdays May 6th ,13th and 20th hearing does not have cost some.
Previous to hearing the list of pre-inscription in the CMA, as well as the card to hearing must retire.

Requirements of Inscription

Pass of infantile hearing
3 photos so large.
Copy of the birth certificate.
