The Public Library Municipal "Manuel J. Clouthier", founded on 1992, constitutes a space for the recreation through the reading. The institution receives around 300 users to the month and has within reach of the population almost 5 thousand books, the majority donated by the National Network of Public Libraries, the system of services librarians more important of Latin America, impelled by comierno Mexican.

Its main objective, is to guarantee the gratuitous access of the population to the reading, the information, the recreation and the knowledge, to contribute to the educative, cultural and social development of the population. In order to fulfill the mission to increase the number of readers, the library, it organizes factories and courses of reading during the summer season. Its bibliographical heap is increased basically with the donativos of the government and individuals, that find in the library the suitable space to elevate their knowledge.

Of additional way, the library offers the service of book loan, for which the applicant must register his data and the name of a fastener, besides to present/display copy of comprobante of infantile address and two photographies so large, that they serve to extend a credential to the user.
